UVC products for Surfaces
These products are available from a ceiling mount unit to the most advanced autonomous robots.
Selection is based on; Pathogen, time, and distance, & sensible budget. Shadows prevent disinfection. Angle of the beam is also another factor. Too much exposure damages equipment, too little is useless. We measure the Dose based on the environment. One tower by itself cannot disinfect a room unless moved several times which make them hard to incorporate into the EVS workflow. Also, the cord could potentially transfer pathogens from one room to another.
Some products are labor free, others are just on or off.
Examples:
A small FAR light fixture can sanitize a bathroom sink all day or a UVD robot can disinfect a laboratory in 20 minutes.
UVC for surface is the most effective tool for food processing plants as they are chemical free.
